In recent years, the fashion industry has witnessed an unbelievable surge in the popularity of latex clothing. This ever increasing trend and change in attitudes, often associated with its provocative allure, has captured the attention of fashion enthusiasts and celebrities alike. Genuine latex clothing, crafted from natural rubber can be expensive and, normally requiring an intricate manufacturing process, often makes it a luxury for many. With such huge growth, and as with so many trends previously, a number of copycat latex shops have appeared online capitalising on the latex clothing hype.

It’s often said that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” and, whilst that may be true in many cases, with the boom in interest around latex fashion has come the opportunity to cash in on this for a number of brands. Here at Latex24/7, we have thoroughly investigated a number of these copycat latex sites and found an alarming number of online stores where product images and descriptions have seemingly been replicated, and often manipulated via AI, from many of the worlds leading latex fashion designers and brands, and then re-posted as products available for sale at reduced prices. Read on as Latex24/7 looks into some of the myriad of online stores now looking to cash in on this lucrative fashion explosion.
Please note that to protect our readers we have chosen to not include links to the various websites highlighted in this article. However, extensive screenshots have been provided to document our findings and research. Latex24/7 holds no responsibility for losses incurred should you choose to seek out and order from any of these online stores.
Latex Magic Best
Launched over five years ago, Latex Magic Best is reportedly run by an individual who has corresponded under multiple names including “Gavin Chanshvin”, “Gavin Panshvin” and “Gavin Pangavin”. Based in China and Hong Kong, Latex Magic Best promises to “specialize in the production of high-quality slinky clothes made of latex on a by-order basis”.
On closer inspection, the website features copies of images from well-known latex designers including Amentium, William Wilde, Savage Wear, Catalyst Latex, Elin Latex, Liquorice and Lace and Affordable Latex. Other noticeable additions are Lady Lucie, Tight Side Latex, Stoshi Design Latex Couture, Kaori’s Latex Dreams, ForniKation UK, Libidex and Bright and Shiny Store.
Older images on the website appear to be lifted straight from latex designers, such as Bright and Shiny Store and Kaori’s Latex Dreams – in many cases using the same description text and notes.

In more recent times, images have been added which show that artificial intelligence has been used to perform techniques such as face-swapping and alterations, in addition to editing techniques such as cropping, amending colour tones and lighting of the images in an attempt to differentiate them from the originals.

Latex Clothing UK
Latex Clothing UK also goes under the name “Latex Slogan”. The website features identical text on their “About Us” and “Privacy Policy” pages as can be found on Latex Magic (which in turn is lifted directly from the Privacy Statement page on Latex Catfish), even down to the last modified date of 01/12/2020, some three years before the Latex Clothing UK domain name was registered in March 2023.

Photographs from latex designers and brands including Bright and Shiny, Westward Bound, William Wilde and Anoeses feature across the website. In addition to these brands, images from other well-known designers such as FBLD, ForniKation UK, Savage Wear, and many more, are shown on product listings which regularly use similar product titles.

Newer products show that Latex Clothing UK makes extensive use of AI, which includes face and hair swapping and background changes of product photographs. In many cases product names appear to be lifted directly from source. For example, the “Morgana Latex Peplum Skirt” from Savage Wear Berlin, in which the background is swapped and the models face and hair are changed but the product name stays the same.

Director of Westward Bound, Steve Beech, has even previously reached out to Latex Clothing UK over on review site TrustPilot and he received the below, slightly strange, response:

Elite (Mitie) Latex
Using a similar bird-like logo to Latex Clothing UK, and with a reference to “Welcome to Latex Clothing UK Store” in the header of each page, this next entry in our list once again uses the same “About Us” and “Privacy Policy” pages found on the previous two entries. The address of the business shares the same offices as Latex Clothing UK; Unit A 8/F Eton Building, 288 Des Voeux Road, Central Hong Kong.

The homepage of Elite Latex features a first for our rundown – written testimonials from two ‘customers’. The first from Emily Harman and a second from Abigail Aparicio, who both appear to have the same signature. Take note of these testimonials for later down our list!

The online store features product images and descriptions which are found on websites from designers including Affordable Latex (such as the Tanja Latex Lace Up Catsuit), Westward Bound and Catalyst – as can be seen below where the same images are used. In many cases, pricing is more attractive, often offering substantial ‘discounts’ against the original brand.

Additionally photos from Kink Projects, Eustratia, Kraken Counter Couture, Bright and Shiny Store, to name but a few can be seen and, in many cases, with little to no editing or amending of names.

Latexy
For the fourth online webshop in our rundown we turn our attention to Latexy (sometimes known as Shoplatexy), a Shopify based online store which notes a California based address but with a Chinese based domain name registered at 22net. The company address noted on the website (37511 Bay Crest Rd, Newark, California 94560) refers to a residential condo property in the United States.
Throughout the website we find product images from brands including the Stella set from Anoeses, Affordable Latex, the Elektra swimsuit from Vex Clothing, and items from House of CB and William Wilde.

In addition to this, the Shopify site includes products imagery lifted straight from well known designers Catalyst Latex, Westward Bound, and Bright and Shiny.

Please note that Latexy presently appears to be offline.
Latex Charms
Continuing the trend of using the same privacy policy as Elite Latex, Latex Clothing UK and Latex Magic, we find Latex Charms once again has the same Latex Catfish policy which shows the same content and last modified date of 01/12/2020.
We also see the same “Real talk from our customers” testimonial images as previously noted over on Elite Latex. With identical signatures shown, the testimonials appears to share a number of common elements as we spotter earlier, albeit with different text and customer names featured on the homepage. No mention of ‘stitching’ this time though!

Latex Charms features numerous images and products from designers including Bright and Shiny, Savage Wear, FBLD, Tight Side Latex, Chronomatic and Latex Capital. Brands such as Lady Lucie, Westward Bound and Liquorice and Lace are also featured – in many cases product names are similar and imagery is identical.

However, there are some images on the site which are edited, such as the below from CoCo Latex where the models face and background have been swapped, albeit rather badly in this instance, and it’s possible to easily see where the model has been ‘cut’ from the original image.

Fifade
The next example on our list boasts more than “15 years of Latex Garment experience” with a Chinese domain name which was first registered in October 2020.
Throughout the site we find product images from designers including Affordable Latex, Bright and Shiny, Libidex, Latex Couture, Anoeses, Westward Bound and Lady Lucie Latex.

In many cases minimal cropping is used to edit photos from such brands as Nikita Latex, House of CB, Honour, William Wilde and Tight Side Latex. We also see photos of well-known latex models Susan Wayland and Bianca Beauchamp, often with faces blurred within the image.

MinimalLatex
With the same Des Voeux Road, Central Hong Kong address as we have previously seen with Latex Clothing UK and Elite Latex, Minimal Latex is another Shopify based online store. Run by an individual by the name of ‘Mark’, the website features images from William Wilde, Honour Clothing, Bright and Shiny, Westward Bound and Kink Projects. In some cases images have been altered to swap faces, hair and heads or cropped to adjust them.

In addition, MinimalLatex images from brands including Anoeses, Chronomatic Latex, Lady Lucie Latex, Fornikation UK and KvroKvlt were found to be included throughtout the website.

MoonBunny-Latex
Not to be confused with Moon Bunny Boutique Latex, MoonBunny-Latex is a Chinese registered domain. The website features heavily cropped images from brands including Radical Rubber, Libidex (such as the Cherie Waistcost shown below) and Simon O. Product names are changed to ‘generic’ descriptions and substantially lower prices can be seen.

In one particular instance we see a bikini top from Simon O which is clearly displayed with the designers logo written across it, as can be seen in the designers original photos on their online store.

Please note, MoonBunny-Latex now appears to be currently offline.
Lixe
With a registered address within the Baiyun District of Guangzhou in China, Lixe makes use of Shoplazza, a Canadian online commerce solution, to publish their webshop.
Heavy use of AI and deepfake techniques to replace faces, heads and backgrounds can be found within product imagery. Designs from brands including ForniKation UK, Liquorice and Lace, William Wilde, Kaori’s Latex Dreams and Elin Latex are visible.

As well as the above examples, images from brands such as Lady Lucie Latex, Bright and Shiny, Savage Wear, Latex Catfish and Catalyst Latex are also present.

Laidtex
With a domain name registered in Iceland, the same country at Minimal Latex, Laidtex appears to share the same address in Nampa, Idaho, USA as a Fulfillment Centre. Using Shopify as a host for the website, the About Us page states the business is run by individuals who are named ‘High Couture Haleigh’, ‘Amorous Alex’ and ‘Number-Crunchin Nancy’. The shop contains images which can also be found on Honour Clothing and Westward Bound, with altered names and descriptions shown.

In addition to the above there are examples of latex designs from Catalyst and also Libidex, such as the Scarlet hooded dress which is shown below.

Catsuitop
The final store in our list also goes by the name ‘Suitop’ Guangdong Suitop Latex Development Co., Ltd. Very little information is available about the site as the majority of links simply return to the homepage.
What we can tell is that images from designers and brands such as Honour Clothing, Westward Bound, Zorenko, Pandora Deluxe and Skin Two are used throughout the site. In most instances the images are identical and have no editing or manipulation added, often simply with a watermark added to the photo.

As with Fifade, we see photos of Susan Wayland and Bianca Beauchamp, along with images from model Zara du Rose.
How to Verify Online Retailers
With the huge number of copycat latex brands highlighted above it can be difficult to determine the legitimacy of latex clothing online. How can you be sure that you are purchasing a premium quality garment which will give you years of wear and pleasure? Take a look at our top tips below:
- Here at Latex24/7 we have the web’s most complete latex fashion directory which includes the ability to search by product type, country of origin, and so much more. All the included brands and designers are verified and checked so you can be sure that you are ordering from a genuine brand
- Be sure to examine product photography closely. Are there signs of fake lighting in the images, do faces look as though they are swapped, have fake shadows been added or do the photos look to be AI generated?
- Check out the social media profiles of the website you are browsing. These are often linked from the shops site. Do the links actually work, or do they simply take you back to the front page of that seller? If the links do work, are there recent posts or is the profile ‘doormant’?
- Check any reviews which may be featured on the shop’s website. Do they use the same names or same text multiple times across items, or sound like they are AI written?
- Does the About page include any incorrect info? Most notably, does it make reference to another website indicating that the text has been copied from elsewhere. Take a look at any address info available and check out on Google Maps – is the building or shop shown on Streetview?
- Perform a reverse image search within your web browser. This can often be done by right-clicking on the image and choosing the relevant Search option. Does the image search results only show websites which are detailed within this article? Or do they appear on well known brands too
- Check out well-known Reddit page Latex Advice for reviews and opinions from those within the community, and ask if you believe a brand maybe a copycat latex store
- Look for product codes or product names alongside each product. Search for that info on Goggle and confirm that products don’t exist anywhere else
And remember, as with so many things in life, if it’s too good to be true then it probably is!
Let us leave you with this…
Any trend or high growth industry can provide an opportunity for brands to take advantage of buyers and the market as a whole, so it’s important to check where you are spending your money. With the use of AI and photo manipulation easier than ever, spotting copycat products needs extra care and attention, particularly for those who are looking for their first latex garment.
Services such as Shopify and WooCommerce allow anyone to quickly create a professional looking store front, with minimal effort, and set themselves up as an online retailer. A number of the above sites are hosted via these services and we’ve reached out to Shopify for comment on our findings. We’ll update this article if we receive a response.
