One of the most amazing things about latex clothing is that it’s so much more than just a material. Latex fashion brings with it the power to infuse confidence, and an almost superhero like persona, to the lucky wearer. And boutique brand ARDORE, who have become known for their high-quality, upcycled leather garments aim to capture that spirit with the launch of their recent latex clothing range.

Speaking exclusively to Latex24/7 recently, ARDORE owners Sophie and David spoke to us about their brand and the exciting plans for the future. “The ARDORE was founded on the conviction that fashion is more than clothing”, the pair tell us, “it’s a reflection of individuality, strength, and boldness.” – well that’s something we here at Latex24/7 can get on board with.
Owners David and Sophie continue to tell us about their background and how “The ARDORE is an independent fashion label based in Austria”, housed within Münichsthal to be exact, and for which their Austrian heritage puts them amongst some of the most highly respected latex brands such as Simon O, Epic Couture and GlanzGlück. Turning the conversation back to the essence of the label, David tells us that ARDORE is a brand which is “dedicated to handcrafted latex and leather garments that blend high-end aesthetics with unapologetic individuality.” A bold statement for sure, but one which the pairing are clearly focused on achieving.
It’s clear that ARDORE is aiming to shift the high street paradigm we are all used to. “In a world ruled by mass production and fleeting trends, ARDORE creates the opposite: unmistakable latex and leather pieces,” and with a collection comprising of highly versatile pieces (more on this later) it’s easy to see that Sophie and David are well on their way to reaching this goal. The owners continue to chat to us about their beliefs for their designs and highlighting the fact that they aim for their latex garments to be “handcrafted for those who don’t conform – but stand out. We believe fashion should be a statement – not just a surface.” And how do they achieve this? “With bold silhouettes, strong materials, and intentional design” Sophie comments, ideals which are clearly always on their mind.
Quality and craftsmanship are without a doubt additionally a key component of the ARDORE brand, as the owners explain to us. “Every handcrafted piece is made in-house, combining precision, quality, and a deep sense of creative freedom.”, an approach often echoed across the entire latex fashion industry but the pair are aiming to take that to a new level and considering the wider implications of their output. “We create fashion that not only looks exceptional but is made consciously – with respect for materials, people, and the environment” David tells us.
With an extensive, but specially curated and versatile collection which already includes latex clothing staples such as skirts, tops, dresses, leggings and bodysuits but which further extends this with stunning swimsuits, sublime gloves and shorts, the recently launched range features a variety of garments which provides everyone with choices and options.
Much is made of the adaptability of their designs. Latex mink skirts are presented with cotton vest tops, tops such as bandeau, long and short sleeved and both high and low neckline are paired with denim jeans and trousers with t-shirts and woolly jumpers. This provides multiple opportunities for those both new and seasoned latex clothing wearers to add these items to their daily wardrobes.

If David and Sophie could each sum up ARDORE in one sentence? “We create for those who don’t follow – but define”, David tells us, before Sophie has the final word commenting to us that “ARDORE approaches latex as a rebellious fashion material – far from cliché, closer to a modern form of expression.”
Well those both sound good to us!
