The annual event, held at London’s Roundhouse, celebrates ways in which the LGBTQ+ community are improving and enriching every aspect of life from film, TV and music to politics, science, sport and technology. To a packed-out house the Attitude Magazine Awards showcased the world of latex clothing to a worldwide audience.
Ashley Roberts
Ex Pussycat Doll and Heart DJ Ashley Roberts is no stranger to the world of latex fashion. She’s previously been seen wearing designs from William Wilde during her appearance on the Heart breakfast show and also wearing Elissa Poppy for a Halloween party, but her choice for the awards show may have been her most daring yet.
Wearing the same incredible dress recently worn by Maya Jama on Love Island, the stunning dress from Poster Girl features flame motified skinny adjustable straps, and full-length split and a centre back concealed zip. The latex garment, suitably entitled the Roast Latex Dress, was in full black and Roberts paired it with a simple, yet elegant pair of stiletto heels.
Bimini
English drag queen, author, recording artist and model Bimini, who has previously rocked latex fashion at The BRITs, attended the event in an all black ensemble. Pairing a set of black latex gloves and stockings, with a knee-length trench coat.
We believe (although not confirmed) that elements of the outfit were from Honour Clothing
Nemo
Winner of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest, Nemo, attended the evening wearing a latex creation from London based designer HARRI. In signature HARRI style, the all black latex jacket featured inflatable oversized “spiky” shoulders and was paired with a full-length pencil skirt.
Nemo also performed ‘The Code’ during the event, and later won Person of the Year.
