Saltburn Director Emerald Fennell Shines at Pre BAFTA Gala

Saltburn Director Emerald Fennell wears Atsuko Kudo Latex to BAFTA Nominees Gala

Whilst we can pretty much be sure that Oppenheimer will sweep the BAFTA awards this year, we can’t guarantee that celebs will be seen out in force donning some latex apparel. However, it seems we may be in for a treat as even those attending the BAFTA nominees pre-awards party last night were repping our favourite material.

Academy Award winning writer, actress and filmmaker Emerald Fennell, who wrote, directed and produced one of this year’s most talked about films, Saltburn, and which is nominated for a total of four BAFTA awards, graced the red carpet wearing latex from Atsuko Kudo. The nominees pre-awards gala, which took place at The National Gallery in London, were well attended but it was clearly director Emerald Fennell who stole the show, wearing the London based designers Encounter Peplum Jacket for the BAFTA event.

This statement piece, which is made from thicker latex, features a detailed construction to provide a breathtaking silhouette and neckline, which is cut with wide lapels leading to a form flattering waist. The peplum style allows for a flowing shape softly out around the hips and the full-length sleeves are designed with striking padded shoulders. The jacket fastens at the centre with large covered poppers.
