“Shine After Covid” – Peter Domenie Re-Opens Berlin Boutique

Like many latex fashion designers around the world, Peter Domenie was forced to close his Berlin-based boutique last year and shift the brands focus to online. As the world starts to return to some form of normality, so quickly changed by the effects of Covid-19, we begin to look at the “Shine after Covid” as Peter Domenie announces the reopening of his prestigious Berlin boutique.

There’s no denying that the impact of Covid-19 has affected the latex fashion industry as a whole. With the cancellation of many alternative events, the restrictions on social interaction and the ability for nearly everyone to “go out”, many brands have been hit by a reduction in demand. Whilst negative for many designers, it has allowed some brands who originally “worked from home” or where their business was supplemental income, to be able to spend more time investing and growing their latex clothing ranges.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced on Wednesday evening a plan to relax Covid-19 restrictions, including conditions to reopen non-essential businesses. Additionally, Merkel announced the availability of at least one available test, per week, per resident to ensure that businesses are protected, along with staff and customers remaining safe and maximum number of people per 10 square metres.

Peter Domenie has therefore decided to reopen his Berlin boutique from March 9th and welcome customers back into the shop. During the first few weeks, Peter has opted to only accept those with an appointment, and these can be made by contacting the boutique via e-mail at info@peterdomenie.com.

The Dutch-based designer commented on Instagram:

We are happy to see you again in our shop starting March 9th.

Peter Domenie and his team design, produce and sell a wide variety of latex fashion worldwide. Both male and female outfits are available, covering a wide variety of items from dresses, tops skirts, lingerie to shirts, trousers and catsuits.
