Formerly known as Sündenrausch, the Hamburg based group have undergone a recent re-brand, or “re-birth” as lead singer Kira Sinister calls it, to become “Original Sin”. As part of this “re-birth” the group have embraced the world of latex clothing and this is evident nowhere more than in the video for new release Digital Dolls.

Singer/songwriter of Original Sin, Kira Sinister is featured in the futuristic video wearing a latex bolero, gloves, bra and skirt and which is paired with a custom wig from MyWitchery, creating an outfit which creates a Y2K and cyberpunk aesthetic and resulting in an all-encompassing ensemble perfect for the electronic undertones of the toe-tapping music.

Official word on which latex fashion designers the individual garments were from came from the band, with the sublime all-black bolero being from Lacing Lilith, gloves from Westward Bound and all other garments from UK based designer Joy Williams

The latex ensemble worn by Kira Sinister highlights the continuing trend of latex fashion within the music industry and a growing acceptable and popularity of the once niche material – a trend we are glad Original Sin have embraced. With lead singer Kira clearly now a fan, having been photographed previously wearing a dress from William Wilde.
