Guitarist, Sonia “Anubis” Nusselder, the Dutch founder of modern heavy rock and metal band COBRA SPELL took to her Instagram to show off her most recent latex ensembles.

The guitarist, songwriter, and producer, known for taking inspiration from and embodying an 80s heavy rock vibe with elements of bands like Dokken and Kiss, and incorporating those into several EPs and a full-length album with COBRA SPELL is no stranger to the world of latex clothing. With a Dutch upbringing it’s no wonder that Sonia has found a fondness for latex fashion – with over thirty latex brands, designers and shops in The Netherlands alone, (check out the Latex Fashion Directory for a complete list) the country has a long history of social tolerance with a liberal and progressive ethos.
As the group embark on a new European and UK tour, it was revealed that the world-renowned London based latex brand Libidex had provided a number of on-stage, all-black, latex outfits for the performances. Garments included the iconic Princess Catsuit, a catsuit with tailored seams and a cheeky high leg cut which helps to make Sonia’s legs look endless, which was paired with the Ava Corset Belt.
As well as outfits by Libidex, the COBRA SPELL band member has also included latex outfits such as the Entropy Bodysuit from Ukrainian based brand Anoeses into her shiny repertoire.
And proving that latex clothing is always transcontinental, Sonia Anubis has also added garments from Vex Clothing to her wardrobe, including the Divide Bodysuit, a mock turtleneck with cutouts at the bust perfectly to create a jaw-dropping bodysuit, along with the LA designers Simple Bodysuit.
