Last night saw the British LGBT Awards 2021 taking place in London. After last years event which was forced to be virtual, thanks to the pandemic, this years LGBT awards was attended by celebrities including Alesha Dixon and Pixie Lott but it was clearly RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season two winner, Lawrence Chaney, who stole the show wearing a stunning latex outfit.

No stranger to the world of latex fashion, the Glaswegian drag star first came to prominence during series two of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2021, has been snapped in many a latex outfit since the artists first appearance. Lawrence Chaney teamed up with fashion icon Gok Wan to host the LGBT awards wearing a exquisite latex outfit from Plymouth based Westward Bound.

The performer wowed wearing a combination of Westward Bounds Tootsie Latex Rubber Top, a homage to the 1950’s sweater girl pin-up look which features horizontal stripes and added puff sleeves. Teamed with a contrasting ruffled pencil latex skirt and colour co-ordinated wig, Lawrence proved once more that latex fashion is both highly unique, eye-catching and wearable by everyone.
