Celebrities are often amongst those who help to push fashion trends into the mainstream. Kylie Jenner is often at the forefront of these and a recent magazine cover was no different, as the cosmetics mogul stunned in a gorgeous latex dress for the August 2020 edition of Vogue Hong Kong.

Photographer Greg Swales beautifully captured the reality TV star as Kylie, styled in a dress by Anthony Vaccarello from Saint Laurent’s 2020 fall collection, was featured in the magazines “Act Now” edition.

Kylie’s red latex dress with a deep plunging neckline and Dallas inspired shoulders eloquently proves that, whilst defining the cover stars figure and shape wonderfully, latex can be worn in a more traditional style and cut. Given that the garment has also been produced for inclusion in a collection from a prestigious and well-regarded label such as Saint Laurent it can only be a matter of time before designs such as this start to find their way into the mainstream. And we couldn’t be more excited!

Kylie Jenner took to Instagram to show off the results of her latex dress Vogue covershoot:

The shoot also featured a high neck black latex garment (although sadly we can’t see below the neckline)

All we can say is bring on Autumn 2020, suddenly Saint Laurent is making us look forward to it a whole lot more!
