If there was ever proof needed of the non-stop rise and impact of latex fashion in mainstream culture, then look no further than the British Vogue Fashion and Film BAFTA after-party as the event was awash with shiny apparel from London based designer Astuko Kudo.

It was certainly fitting that one of the most prominent UK latex brands should feature so heavily at the event as we saw a huge haul of celebs looking incredible in the shiny stuff.
Taking place at London’s Annabel’s Private Members’ Club in Mayfair, the event is an annual BAFTA Awards Fashion & Film after-party which is hosted by British Vogue’s editor-in-chief and Vogue’s European editorial director Edward Enninful, Anya Taylor-Joy and Jourdan Dunn and in collobaration with Tiffany & Co.
So, just who was there?
Charli Howard
Actress, model and activist Charli Howard is clearly falling in love with latex clothing as she was recently also seen waring Atsuko Kudo Latex at the GQ Men of the Year Awards only a couple of months ago.
This time she stunned wearing a plum coloured, full-length Scallop Cup Ball Gown from the designer. The latex gown features an eye-catching train, in-built cup support and gorgeous scallop shaping across the chest.
Munroe Bergdorf
Internationally renowned author, activist, model, broadcaster and British Vogue contributing editor Munroe Bergdorf has already been seen in the designers Lady P evening dress just a few short weeks ago for the Brit Awards 2023.
For the British Vogue party the 35 year old swapped her latex garment of choice, this time choosing a Halter Neck Candy Cup Gown in which the author WOWED when the dress was combined with a waist clenching Katy Waspie. Truly stunning!
Paloma Faith
Another regular wearer of Atsuko Kudo, most recently whilst performing at Brighton Pride, Paloma Faith combined the brands high-necked, fitted sleeves Joy Bodysuit and a pair of latex stockings which were paired with a cute pink, bowed frock. What a combination!
Ikram Abdi Omar
British model Ikram Abdi Omar went all out with the black Atsuko Kudo latex. The model paired the Joy Bodysuit with a set of this years must-have accessory, latex gloves, along with an immaculate pair of latex leggings which included attached feet.
