Luxury Parisian latex designer AVELLANO is renowned for their captivating and flowing latex garments, and with the reveal of their new RTW Spring 2024 collection house this tradition continues to be demonstrated, albeit with some new and exciting additions to the range.

Launched at the Arab World Institute (Institut du Monde Arabe) on the closing day of Paris Fashion Week, brand owner Arthur Avellano, surely felt right at home having produced many of the costumes and outfits for the recent production of “The Last Call”, which takes place at the Paris Opera Ballet.
Continuing the signature AVELLANO trend of long, flowing latex garments the Spring 2024 collection also takes a similar colour palette to previous launches; metallic silvers to gold and greys to transparent ‘mustard’ yellows. Running throughout the range is a sense of elegance and maturity, and the snakeskin appearance made a welcome return. There was also footwear, with custom latex-covered Ugg slippers, embellished with Swarovski crystals.
The Spring 2024 collection continues to expand the reach of AVELLANO designs with sonar-effect latex robes and trousers and astrakan effect latex bras. Avellano still commented that it’s “still all latex, all the time,” he declared backstage before the performance.
The sonar effect continued with jackets paired with transparent latex bra.
And, of course, no AVELLANO collection would be complete without their signature transparent latex dress.
It’s clear that Avellano and his team are comfortable with their chosen medium, commenting that “I would rather perfect the universe I already have, rather than create a new one for each season”
