Hot on the heels of his Spring/Summer 2023 translucent dress being worn by singer Rita Ora, owner of Parisian brand AVELLANO has spoken to online magazine Women’s Wear Daily about the history of the brand and upcoming releases in their latest interview.

The WWD interview details the rise of Avellano from his roots in Toulouse, France to becoming one of the most widely known names in the industry, thanks to celebrity endorsements including Julia Fox, Katy Perry, Trinity Rodman, Coco Rocha and Lena Situations.
A run of unsuccessful job applications allowed him to take the plunge and launch his own brand in 2016, which led to several years of growth before the order book was hit heavily by the pandemic. Despite this, Avellano was not dis-heartened and in 2020 the label was re-launched and became available for purchase online in 2021. And the rest, as they say, is history.
The designer also announced that AVELLANO will be featured at Paris Fashion Week on March 7th, with a latex filled catwalk which is bound to push boundaries and further extend the reach of latex clothing.
We certainly can’t wait to see Paris Fashion Week has instore for Arthur and the AVELLANO brand.
