After a hugely succesful show at Avantgardista last year, Dutch based latex designer Liquid Disco Latex returned to the catwalk recently to reveal their incredible new futuristic Cyberpunk themed collection.

Showcasing another colourful and varied collection but one which, in contrast, was easily accessible to latex fashion wearers both new and experienced, the new SYZYGY collection was unveiled at Wasteland Amsterdam. The new collection combined the brands signature pastel colours and ‘tie dye’ latex with neons and transparents providing additional outfit choices for the designers customers and clients. This unique and captivating show contained 12 unique outfits, revealing a combination of their signature hand dyed latex and rhinestoned latex and was topped off with matching accessories: LED headpieces, steel face harnesses, bubble guns, on brand weird sunglasses 😎, creating a feast for the eyes, and for the senses on the Cyberpunk infused runway.

Renowned models including Ruby Alexia, Polly Anther and Freyja Phoria flew in from the UK to walk for the brand, as well as amazing German models Aries Liu, Aenn Alien, Redsky and Catastrophie. To top off the incredible line-up they were joined by the amazing talents of Dutch models Lara Aimee, Stephanie O’Hare, Jasmine Davids, Plastic Persoon and Stan Valentine.
Backstage photographers and videographers Sanne van Bergenhenegouwen, James MSLB and Bradley Scott Laba were present to create amazing photos and videos of the happening.
Speaking to Latex24/7 about the event, Liquid Disco owner Elena told us how overwhelmed she was with the audiences response. “This has been our biggest production thus far and we couldn’t be happier with the crowds reaction”, commented Elena. “For this runway show we collaborated with Dutch model and designer Lara Aimee, who made matching leather harnesses for the show.”
Videograper Bradley-Scott Laba was also responsible for making a retro videogame inspired aftermovie of the catwalkshow! Such a vibe!
The SYZYGY collection features garments including bodysuits, tops, dresses, jackets, trousers and shoulder peplums and is available direct from Liquid Disco Latex via the brands Instagram profile.
