Since the launch of the brand back in 2022, Netherlands based Liquid Disco Latex have consistently been at the forefront of innovative and daring latex fashion. With a number of eye-catching, often Y2K or cyberpunk inspired collections, which feature a dichotomy of bright and pastel colour palettes already under their belt, owner and designer Elena Lovebite recently launched her brands new latex clothing collection at Torture Garden, London.

Elena is, of course, no stranger to the world of latex fashion having spent a number of years previously modelling the incredible material. With each new range launched, Liquid Disco has further extended their influence and impact within the latex fashion industry and community as a whole.
Elena graciously spoke to us here at Latex24/7 shortly after the reveal of her latest collection, entitled ‘DELERIOUS’.

“For this collection ‘DELERIOUS’ I have been wildly inspired with Y2K tribal patterns and different materials to combine with the latex.”, the designer informed us. “Lots of buckles, spikes, and fluffy fabric were included as part of the designs for that extra wow-effect. I wanted a vibe that screamed Cute, Cunty & Cool.”
Gone are the elegant cuts and familiar lines of latex fashion you’ve no doubt seen a multitude of celebrities wearing, and in come edgy and powerful translucent latex which are designed to be thought-provoking and start a conversation.

Continuing with her clearly passionate approach to latex clothing, Elena has made distinctive and decisive choices in the palette she chose for ‘DELERIOUS’. “The collection is made from transparent latex, I love cohesion in designs.”, she tells us. “That when you look at the entire model line up, it makes sense. All the applique I do is cut by hand – no laser cutter. I have spent many hours into the night cutting and gluing. My friend Charlotte lovingly called me ‘the best pizza cutter’ after a 5 hour rotary knife cutting session.” With such a dedication to her craft it’s clear that Liquid Disco Latex is much more than just a passion project for the designer but more from a genuine love for the material and an unwavering desire to bring the material to new audiences.

With a new collection ready to showcase, Elena then began her search for the perfect place to officially launch it. After much deliberation, she decided on Torture Garden in London and a dream she had held for many years came true. “It has been on my vision board since 2022 to do a fashion show at TG. I’m so excited that it has happened!”, a testament to the passion and drive which the Liquid Disco owner has. “A huge shout-out to the TG crew too: everyone who was involved was absolutely amazing and I loved meeting you.”

And no grand reveal would, of course, be complete without a number of models to walk the catwalk. “The models I had for this collection were absolutely perfect. All of them embodied that Liquid Disco Vibe”, Elena tells us. “They all had so much fun and that’s what it’s all about for me. If they feel great in the clothes, and feel like they look good in them, that’s gonna show on stage.”, she continues. “I really looked at all the individual models and made a special look for them. The leather accessories that my friend Lara (Night Edge) makes are just amazing. I love the look of combining latex and leather and whenever I work with Night Edge, It’s as if she can look in my head. We are such an incredible work duo. Forever grateful for her and her incredible work!”
And so the stage was set and all pieces of the puzzle now in place. With an unbelievable cast of models, including Luna Howl,Carobones, Parker, Kaya, >Ruby Alexia/a> and Jazhangs took to the catwalk. Joined by Chanel Latrice, Miss Terti Boxx, Lara Aimee, Polly Anther, Freyjaphoria, :::AC(dot robot):::, Arnö Vön Detritus and Snyperr, each and every piece was both individually unique but also felt cohesive within the whole collection.

The night was made even more noteworthy thanks to the inclusion of one individual. “The most special thing about this all was that my mom joined me for the show. She hasn’t ever been to any latex party – EVER. She is 66, and the most incredible mom I could wish for. Openminded, supportive, caring and sweet. It was such a wholesome experience to see those 2 worlds collide, and I’m so proud to call her my mom.” The Liquid Disco queen’s mum even got involved in the spectacle. “All the models were so sweet to her too. It’s so cute to see your mom comment on ‘that this model hasn’t been shined yet’. She has a great eye for detail.”

“My brother came to watch and help at German Fetish Ball in 2024, that was so much fun! Now the only person left in the family to join one of my shows is my dad. I absolutely love the open minded and incredible family I was born in.” Fingers crossed for 2026!
So what’s next for Liquid Disco Latex? “What’s next on the vision board?”, Elena puzzles for a brief moment. “The only thing I can say is that…we are going to be ‘Disco-fying’ more countries and clubs in Europe, have even more innovative designs and honestly, loads of more fun! Stay tuned, big things are coming!”
