Whilst it may have been the celebrities wearing AVELLANO during Paris Fashion Week which has made the headlines, there is never any doubt that the launch of a new collection from Studio AVELLANO is an exciting momenet and the designer certaintly did not disappoint at the reveal of the new range in Paris this week.

Launching the designers new Ready-to-Wear Fall Winter 2023 at Le Pavillon Wagram in Paris, the luxury brand revealed a collection which was both quintessentially AVELLANO but which introduced new elements such as snakeskin effects, a 3D-printed honeycomb with some iterations hand-studded with Swarovski crystals, and latex-coated Lycra, which was used for easier daywear options but also practical for shoes.
The Fall-Winter 2023–2024 collection by AVELLANO represents a key turning point for the company as it is the first time the line has been included on the official schedule of Paris Fashion Week. AVELLANO has developed a celebrity fan base over the past year, counting Julia Fox, Kim Kardashian, and Doja Cat among their admirers (in fact Noah Cyrus watched the performance from the front row) and whilst the majority of his customers are still in the made-to-order market it was clear to see the the designer was unapologetically comfortable to continue this trend.
For the upcoming seasons, AVELLANO showcased a dark and controlled colour palette from chrome to platinum, with a futuristic, cinematic black motif that is out of this world. Long dresses and slinky bodysuits took centre stage in the collection’s new uncharted zone, which has a sexier and more nocturnal vibe. New elements added to the collection, like three-toned snakeskin-textured latex and 3D-printed materials encrusted with Swarovski® crystals, improve its craftsmanship. All in signature AVELLANO black, blue and grey – although there was of course the eye-catching translucent latex as worn by singer Rita Ora.

Whilst AVELLANO may always carry a premium price-tag we can’t wait to see designs such as these begin to influence designs from other labels and brands.
