American songstress Cardi B has already collaborated with Fashion Nova, the last time was in Autumn 2018 and the collection instantly sold out. Well the pair are ready to go at it again launching a second collection shortly which will feature latex, corsets and leather.
No stranger to fashion, the collection will comprise of an immense total of one hundred and seven garments and the 26-year-old Grammy award winner’s second line for the fast-fashion retailer is said to be “inspired by ’80s and ’90s influences, balanced with themes of empowerment and rebellion,” according to a recent press release from the designer.
This time the inspirations will come from “classic boudoir themes,” with corsets, latex, vegan leather and “hyper shine wet looks” among the offerings — a change from her “corporate and poppin’” first collection.

Prices are expected to range from $29 to $99 for items, when they go on sale on via Fashion Nova on 8th May.
Let’s hope the collection does actually feature some wonderful latex, and this is not just a continuation of the current media trend to classify pvc or lycra as our favourite material. We’ll know within the next week.
