Since its launch back in 2022, online marketplace Charmskool has become the go-to boutique for a constantly growing and evolving selection of the very best handpicked brands showcasing all things with an erotic, dark or avant-garde twist – everything from fetishwear to fashion. And with 2025 upon us, this unique venture has taken the next step in its evolution with the opening of its first permanent showroom.

With the launch of this showroom, Charmskool is bridging the gap between its successful online marketplace and pop-up events, creating its first permanent retail concept store and community space.
Talking about this new and exciting endeavor with Latex24/7, Charmskool owner Alexandra Houston and new Marketing Manager Rebecca, formerly of Playful Promises, described the premise of the location. “Following years of successful pop-ups, including collaborations with sister business Le Boutique Bazaar, this 1,400 sq. ft. space offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for those seeking innovative, design-led fetishwear, lingerie, and accessories. Perfectly positioned near Brick Lane and Shoreditch, East London, the showroom is designed not just as a retail space, but as a community hub.”
It’s clear that the new Charmskool Showroom is aiming to be more than just another boutique, placing a focus on highlighting independent brands and fostering a community spirit, an approach which has been pivotal in the success of the business so far. “Customers can browse curated collections in a relaxed environment, enjoy a cup of tea, and shop alongside friends or partners. For those looking for something truly special, bespoke personal shopping services and private appointments will be available”, the Charmskool organisers described to us.
Pitched as “A Space for Creativity & Connection Beyond retail” , Charmskool’s showroom will double as a versatile event space, hosting workshops and masterclasses, sample sales, along with photoshoots and product launches.
The Soft Launch Weekend, running Thursday 12th to Sunday 16th February, will give guests an exclusive first look at the showroom (located at 111 Railway Arches, Cable Street, E1 2LY) – just in time to secure last-minute outfits and gifts ahead of Valentine’s Weekend.
Charmskool will showcase a rotating lineup of independent designers specializing in everything from fetish couture to artisanal leatherwork and luxury lingerie, including: 666999, 8th Sin, Ada Zanditon Couture, Alexandra Rose Leather, Amentium, An Original Leroy, B_Dodi, Bound in Leather and Submission, Broke Boutique, Haus of Mammilla, House of SXN, Iona Smith Scott, Kerris Spencer, Maniacc, Nes Noir, Publicparts, Quincy Albert Leatherworks, Rebecca Lightbody, Rough + Ready, Spi&ce Intimates, Scorned in Chains, Kennedy, Moan Zine, The Loussine, Velvet Rebel Lingerie, Lovelorn Lingerie, and Rarecolt.
