Model R’Bonney Nola, the first Filipino-American to win the Miss Universe contestant, who also produces eco-friendly clothing with her brand R’Bonney Nola Design kicked off pride month celebrating The Ballroom Scene, an African-American and Latino underground LGBTQ+ subculture that originated in New York City, as she was in attendance at the Gay Men’s Health Crisis event. The Latex Ball stands as a commitment to the Ballroom community and honoring those lost to AIDS.
R’Bonney Nola combined the London based latex designers Lady P Catsuit and accessorised it with an Atsuko Kudo Alejandra hat, both in royal blue.
