The Festival da Canção, produced and broadcast by Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, takes place each year to select the country’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. Hopeful entrants Jacaréu and Ana Margarida have already made it to the second semi-final round and the performance of their track “O-pi-ni-ão” was made even more powerful by their choice of outfits, with both the performers and backing singers all clad in latex from Spanish latex brand PMV LATEX. The brand spoke exclusively to Latex24/7 about the ethos behind the incredible latex outfits.

“For Jacaréu’s latex look at Festival da Canção, the green modern outfit was designed to reflect renewal, creative freedom, and emotional depth.”, the designers tells us. “The silhouette blends structure and fluidity, mirroring his expressive stage presence and contemporary musical identity. Jacaréu is a Portuguese singer-songwriter known for his emotionally driven work, where introspective storytelling meets bold, modern pop sensibilities.” There is no doubt that the striking green outfit perfectly captures this bold and modern approach.

Contrasting the bold green was the latex outfit worn by singer-songwriter Ana Margarida. “Her red catsuit, with a dramatic diva skirt, was created as a statement of power, passion, and theatricality.”, the designer continues. “The look reinterprets classic diva codes through a modern lens, combining a second-skin silhouette with striking volume for maximum stage impact. Known for her powerful voice and magnetic presence, Ana Margarida brings intensity and emotional strength to every performance, reinforcing her status as a commanding performer.”
