Singer Christina Aguilera attended the Billboard Latin Music Awards last week and looked incredible wearing a full-length Venus Prototype latex dress.

Aguilera was honoured for her “philanthropic and humanitarian contributions” as she received the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award. Billboard recognized Aguilera’s work with the LGBTQ community, her contributions to HIV/AIDS research, efforts to combat food insecurity, and provide resources for people experiencing domestic violence. Gloria Estefan became the first-ever recipient, in 1996, and fellow honourees include Selena Quintanilla, Ricky Martin, and Shakira.
But the real star of the show was most definitely the striking latex dress which the star wore, courtesy of Venus Prototype and Violet Star, a Latina-owned brand now run by a mother-daughter team. Not the first time we have seen Christina Aguilera wearing Venus Prototype, the singer has worn the brand before along with celebirty favourite Vex Clothing at both Expo 2020 and the video to accompany single release Santo.
Dramatic along its full-length, the latex gown came perfectly showed off Christina’s curves and flared out below her knees. The dress also included elegantly pronounced shoulder pads and a corseted bodice and neckline added unique elements to an otherwise classically shaped gown.
