Launched during the second half of last year, the first latex collection from Austrian based The ARDORE combined a highly accessible and adaptable array of latex apparel comprising a hugely compotent womenswear range. Since then the brand has gone from strength to strength, further extending their collection and adding new items which follow a similar approach and ethos. Never wishing to rest on their laurels, and with a view to pushing the brand forward, the designers have earlier this week announced the launch of their first purely menswear latex collection.
Whilst the availability and choice of men’s latex across the industry is sadly reduced when compared to femme-style garments, this provides the opportunity for designers and brands to offer convenient and alternative options for menswear and The ARDORE have clearly taken this to heart. Blending a variety of loose fitting tops and bottoms, the team at The ARDORE have kept the collection as garments which, whilst simple in their execution, are also sure to be a conversation starter.
As part of the new collection, oversized latex t-shirts provide an accesible and versatile entry point into latex fashion. Available in both black, smoky black and also metallica latex the oversized tee is the ideal first garment for anyone wanting to enter the world of latex clothing, in part due to their ‘baggy’ style ensuring ease of wear and ensuring that they can be worn perfectly with everyday essentials such as a pair of denim jeans or joggers for a relaxed style. Whilst the range is officially named the “Men’s Collection”, garments such as the oversized latex tee are just as suitable as unisex apparel, particularly for women choosing the black palette who want a more casual latex look without all the effort of tighter latex clothing.

Concluding the new menswear range are a pair of wide-leg latex shorts.
