Italian based design house Belarex, the luxury lingerie brand, has long featured latex apparel throughout their extensive range. CEO and founder of Belarex, Elisa Sottocorno, has often spoken about the brands goal “to make those who wear its creations rediscover sensuality and self-esteem”. And with the announcement of the launch of their latest essentials range, Belarex have further explored these aims with a latex collection which screams empowerment and confidence but also accessibility.

With a captivating range of latex lingerie, dresses, tops, skirts and bustiers already available from the designer, the brand already has an extensive range ideal for a number of high-profile occasions. The new collection, entitled ‘Smooth Line’ aims to break down barriers and encourage those new to latex to take the plunge. Elisa commented on her Instagram profile that ‘Smooth Line’ is “my way of introducing everyone to the world of latex, especially those who are curious but want to start simple and stylish. Perfect for anyone looking for a fresh start.”
With a capsule collection featuring a number of versatile, key staple garments, Belarex has opened itself to a new audience for its sublime latex clothing. With previous designs having been featured on high-profile hit Netflix show Emily In Paris, in which actress Ashley Park wore the designers Monaco Coat, it’s clear that Belarex are aiming for mass appeal.
The reveal of the ‘essentials’ line includes a variety of styles; from halter neck maxi dresses to expertly thigh cut bodysuits, key items such as a triangle bikini and knee-length midi skirt and midi-skirts to strapless tube tops. And available in a choice of approachable colours such as peach, black, silver, white and red.
Garments are clearly designed to be paired together. For example, the latex bralette top and midi skirt are the perfect combination when worn together. But with a small amount of thought, each of the available items could easily be ‘mixed-and-matched’ with a huge variety of traditional materials, further extending the possible repertoire of outfits from this welcoming and affable collection.
