Rihanna‘s style, since announcing her pregnancy in January, has been unique and distinctive. While attending the Gucci Fall/Winter 2022 fashion show, the Umbrella singer wore an amazingly cute black latex crop top which features stunning detailed long-sleeve lace. The latex shine certainly drew attention to her ‘bump’ as Rihanna sat front row at the launch. Instead of conforming to wearing typical maternity clothes, Riri believes it’s all about taking fashion risks to figure out what she feels best in. The star confidently walked the red carpet before the show, commenting to Refinery29 that she is tired of society forcing women to “feel like you hide, hide your sexy, and that you’re not sexy right now [but] you’ll get back there and I don’t believe in that s**t. I’m trying stuff that I might not have even had the confidence to try before I was pregnant,” she added. “The strappiest, the thinnest, and the more cutouts the better for me.” It’s clear that Rihanna’s pregnancy has given her an unexpected sense of empowerment, a feeling shared by many who wear latex fashion.
