Latex Confessions – My First Time in Latex Clothing

One of the topics we love to hear about here at Latex24/7 is the incredible and transformative experiences people have when wearing latex clothing for the first time. We frequently hear from readers who were initially hesitant about trying latex fashion, and how their opinion and mind was totally changed once they had the opportunity to wear a latex garment. We were therefore lucky to recently speak to the hugely talented photographer Framework Filth about her first time in latex fashion, her thoughts and opinions and if she’ll be expanding her latex wardrobe soon!

Q: Please tell us a little about yourself.
A: I am a content creator specialising in Photography, with a keen interest in Drag, Fetish and alternative fashion.

Q: When and how did you first discover latex fashion? Was it seeing someone wearing it in public, a celebrity endorsement, or a social media post? What was your first impression when you first discovered it?
A: As a photographer, latex has always been something I’ve been keen to photograph due to my love for fetish fashion. I am particularly fascinated with latex and its use within the fetish/ kink community.

Q: What has it been that has prevented you from trying latex clothing before?
A: I’ve always felt like I belonged behind the camera as a photographer. I loved to create images with latex garments but never felt confident enough to wear latex myself.

Q: Tell us about your first latex purchase. Why did you choose this particular garment? Was there a specific reason why you opted for that designer/brand?
A: Honour Clothing and I collaborated on a photoshoot back in June where I came into the store and photographed their garments; whilst on set at Honour Clothing, I found a latex halter neck neon pink dress that I decided to try on just for fun before the end of the shoot. I fell in love and just had to take it home with me.

Q: Did it help you to have a physical store to visit and to be able to speak to someone in person?
A: I don’t think I would have purchased an item of latex clothing if I didn’t visit an actual store. It helped to see the item and try it on before I brought it, as I had no idea what it would be like to wear latex, and I wasn’t sure if I’d like it.

Q: How did your first time in latex feel and what was the outfit like? Did wearing latex fashion affect your confidence or self-perception in any way?
A: As soon as I put the latex on, I fell in love. It was comfortable to wear; I liked how it felt on my skin and loved how the dress hugged my body and the shine of the latex.

Q: What would say to anyone still unsure whether to try latex clothing? What advice would you give to someone who is considering trying latex fashion for the first time?
A: Go into a store and try an item on first. I was very unsure about how I would feel about wearing Latex as I don’t usually feel very body confident, but after trying Latex in the store, I felt great about how latex made me look.

Q: Will you be growing your latex wardrobe further? Would you consider wearing latex fashion again? Why or why not?
A: Absolutely! I will be revisiting Honour Clothing soon.
